Team call log report

The daily report arrives at seven, written by the people it measures.

You cannot manage a calling team from a summary of a day that has already ended. With Telodial, the telecalling CRM, the team call log report is live and nobody writes it.

Calls, connects, talk time, outcomes and follow-ups per caller and per day, in a browser, with the caller own remarks attached to the numbers.

Team call log report in the Telodial app

What is in a team call log report?

A team call log report answers three questions for each caller: how much calling happened, what came of it, and what was promised next. Telodial builds it from the calls themselves, so the owner opens a browser and sees calls attempted and connected, total and average talk time, the mix of outcomes by status, follow-ups due and kept, and how long each new lead waited before its first call. Because the after-call sheet feeds the same records, the numbers arrive with the caller own remarks attached, which is what turns a low figure into a conversation rather than an accusation. Any date range can be exported, and the right to export is itself a permission you grant per employee. Nobody on the team writes or compiles anything, which returns the reporting hour at the end of each day to both the callers and whoever used to collate it.

  • Calls, connects, talk time and outcome mix per caller
  • Follow-ups due, kept and overdue
  • Remarks attached to the numbers
  • Exports for any range, gated by per-employee permission
How it works

Step by step

  1. 1

    Callers just call

No timesheet, no log, no form. The tracking is the by-product of the calling.

Team call log report: Callers just call
  2. 2

    Outcomes attach to the numbers

Two taps per call means every count carries a status and a remark.

  3. 3

Read the team in a browser

Per person, per source, per day, live, with exports for any range.

What you get

Team call log report, in detail

Nobody writes it

The report is a by-product of calling, so it costs no time and cannot be shaded by whoever is being measured.

Talk time, not just call count

Call count rewards short dials. Minutes of conversation cannot be manufactured, so read that first.

Outcomes beside effort

The status mix sits next to the volume, so a busy day with nothing to show is visible as exactly that.

Per source as well as per person

The same day sliced by where the leads came from, which is usually where the surprise is.

Live, not nightly

A quiet morning shows up while the afternoon is still available to change.

Exports with permission

Any range, in a file, and only for the people you allow to take data out.

What callers and owners tell us

One caller was reporting eighty calls and making thirty-five. I did not want to catch anyone, but I did want to know. Now the number is just there and the conversation is easier.
Rekha I.Partner, consultancy, BengaluruJul 2026
Talk time per person is the number I actually watch. Calls made can be gamed. Twenty-two minutes of talk time cannot.
Mohit L.Head of sales, JaipurJun 2026
I can see the gap between when a lead came in and when it was first called. That single column changed how my team works in the mornings.
Yogesh K.Founder, NashikJul 2026

Quotes come from customers who agreed to be named this way, shared on WhatsApp or on calls, and trimmed only for length. We publish no star rating or review count, because we will not show a number we cannot show you the source of. Last checked September 2026.

Questions

Team call log report: what people ask

Does this need company phones?

No. Telodial runs on the phone each caller already carries. Business calls made in the app are reported; anything outside the app is not.

Can I compare callers fairly?

Compare talk time and outcome mix rather than call count. A caller working a harder list will show fewer connects, and the outcome mix is what tells you whether the difference is effort or list quality.

Can managers see only their own people?

Yes. Managers see the callers they are responsible for, under permissions the owner sets.

How far back does the history go?

For as long as the account exists. Records are kept in your company account rather than on the phone, so a replaced handset changes nothing.

Can I get the report as a file?

Yes, for any date range, subject to the export permission. Most owners export monthly and read the dashboard daily.

A report nobody has to write

What to look at, and what to ignore

You are watching dial counts.

Put talk time beside it. Dial count on its own rewards shorter conversations. The pair together tells you whether somebody is working or performing work, and neither number does that alone.

Callers compile an evening report.

Stop asking for it. A report written by the people being measured is not evidence, and the hour it takes is the most expensive hour of the day. If the tool cannot produce it, that is the thing to replace.

You only look at the report at month end.

Look on Wednesday. A month-end number tells you what already happened. The same figures read midweek are still a decision, which is the only reason to collect them.

What owners and managers ask

What should a daily call report actually contain?

Calls made, talk time, outcomes recorded and follow-ups kept, per person, for the day. Those four resist gaming in combination, and anything beyond them tends to be read once and then ignored.

Can I see this without asking the team?

That is the point of collecting it from the handset call log rather than from a form. A figure that arrives without anybody assembling it is both cheaper and more trustworthy than one that was typed in by the person it describes.

Does the owner need to install anything?

Reporting like this is usually read in a browser rather than on the phone, which suits an owner who is not making calls. The calling app is for the people calling; the report is for whoever is deciding.

How do I compare two callers fairly?

Compare them on the same list type and the same hours, or not at all. Somebody working fresh enquiries will beat somebody working a six-month-old list on every metric, and reading that as a difference in effort is the fastest way to lose the better caller.

What this rests on

  • The reporting described is what Telodial collects from the handset call log and shows in the web dashboard.
  • The guidance about which metrics resist gaming reflects what teams of this size report in practice.

What this page does not claim

  • This is a page about our own reporting. The argument against asking callers to write reports holds regardless of what you use instead.

Worth quoting

  • Calls made, talk time, outcomes recorded and follow-ups kept are the four figures that resist gaming together.
  • A report compiled by the people it measures is not evidence.
  • Figures read midweek are a decision; the same figures at month end are only history.
  • Reading call data from the handset log removes the need for anybody to assemble it.
  • Two callers can only be compared fairly on the same kind of list and the same hours.
