Auto dialer app

Twenty seconds of finding and typing a number, a hundred times a day, per caller.

The dead time between calls is an hour a day that nobody bills for. With Telodial, the telecalling CRM with a built-in auto dialer, the next number rings the moment the last call ends.

Pick a list, press start, and talk. Calls go out one after another through the SIM in the phone, with a gap you set so the after-call note gets written before the next customer answers.

Auto dialer session calling through a lead list

What does an auto dialer app do?

An auto dialer app places calls from a list one after another, so a telecaller never finds, types or decides on a number again and spends the day talking instead. Telodial does this through the SIM already in the phone, which means the customer sees a normal mobile number rather than a call-centre line. A session runs from any list: a lead status, today follow-ups, an imported sheet or a caller assigned queue. Between calls a sheet takes the outcome, and the gap before the next call is set by you, usually thirty to forty seconds, so the note is written while it is fresh. A run of unreachable numbers stops the session rather than quietly burning the morning. Teams typically move from sixty to eighty manual calls a day to a hundred and fifty or more on the same list.

  • Dials through the phone own SIM: no virtual number, no per-minute bill
  • A pause you choose before each new call, long enough to write the note
  • Pause, skip or take an incoming call without losing your place
  • Stops on a run of unreachable numbers instead of wasting the session
Why teams switch

What it fixes in the first week

Today

The keypad eats the working day

Finding the row, reading the number, typing it, deciding to press call. Twenty seconds, a hundred times, is most of an hour per caller per day.

With Telodial

The next number dials itself. Nobody touches the keypad, and the hour comes back as conversations.

Today

Nobody knows where the list stopped

Some numbers get called twice, others never, and the only record of progress is a highlighted row in somebody spreadsheet.

With Telodial

The session keeps its place through pauses, incoming calls and restarts, and every attempt is on the record.

Today

Cloud dialers show a number nobody recognises

Rented numbers, an IVR to configure, a per-minute bill, and customers who let an unknown line ring out.

With Telodial

Calls go out on your own SIM at your own tariff, so your real number is what rings on the customer side.

How it works

Three steps, and no training day

  1. 1

    Choose what to call

Today follow-ups, one lead status, a freshly imported sheet, an assigned queue or a filtered segment. Any list in the app becomes a calling session in a single tap.

Picking which leads a Telodial dialling session should work through
  2. 2

    Press start and talk

Calls go out back to back with the gap you set. Skip a number, redial one, or pause for a break. An incoming call pauses the session and is logged like any other.

Auto dialer working through the queue
  3. 3

The outcome saves itself into the CRM

Status, remark and follow-up in two taps between calls, then the next number rings. The WhatsApp message you set up for that outcome goes out without anyone remembering it.

What callers and owners tell us

I timed my own callers before we switched. Twenty-two seconds between calls, every call, all day. That is an hour a person gone. The dialer took it back.
Ganesh T.Owner, insurance agency, PuneAug 2026
No virtual number, no per-minute bill, no telephony contract to sign. My accountant understood the switch faster than I did.
Harshad V.Proprietor, SuratJun 2026
I wanted a telecalling CRM that a 22-year-old could use on day one without training. Two of my three new joiners never asked me a single question about the app.
Rupesh J.Founder, digital agency, NagpurJun 2026
The thing that sold my callers was that nothing extra was asked of them. Same phone, same SIM, one sheet after the call. Nobody had to learn a computer.

Questions

Auto dialer app: what people ask

Does the auto dialer need a virtual number or an IVR?

Neither. Telodial places its calls through the SIM card sitting in the handset, so the number appearing on the customer screen is the one your business already uses and the cost falls on the tariff you already hold. There is no routing menu to build, no line to rent and no minute-by-minute invoice.

How many calls a day can one telecaller make?

Teams usually move from sixty to eighty manual calls to a hundred and fifty or more, because the dead time between calls disappears. The real ceiling is talk time, so the number depends on how long your conversations run.

Can I control the gap between calls?

Yes, and it is worth setting deliberately. It arrives at thirty seconds, which is about what closing the outcome sheet takes; teams who want fuller notes tend to stretch it to forty and find they lose nothing overall, because the conversations that follow are better informed.

What happens when a number is switched off or unreachable?

The session moves to the next number and keeps the skipped one in the queue. After a run of unreachable calls it stops, so a bad list does not quietly consume the whole session.

Is an auto dialer a robocaller?

No. A robocaller plays a recording at whoever answers. An auto dialer places an ordinary call that a person then has. Nothing plays before you speak, and the customer cannot tell the call was dialed by software.

Is auto dialing legal in India?

Ringing somebody back about the enquiry they themselves submitted, on the number your business trades under, is simply doing business. What the regulator restricts is unrequested promotion, and it restricts it hardest towards subscribers who have registered to be left alone. Stay on lists you generated, let the app keep its record of every call, and mark anyone who asks not to be rung again.

What happens if I get an incoming call mid-session?

The session pauses, the incoming call is logged like any other call, and the queue resumes when you are ready, at the exact place it stopped.

Can two callers work the same list at once?

They each work a share rather than the whole thing. Deal the list out in turn when it is imported and every record has one owner, and a number already attempted that day will not be handed to a colleague, so nobody is rung twice by the same business in an afternoon.

How is an auto dialer different from a predictive dialer?

The number of lines each one opens. An auto dialer holds to a single call per caller and starts it once that person is free, so every customer who picks up finds somebody there. A predictive system deliberately runs ahead of its agents and accepts that a share of answered calls will meet silence, which only pays off on a floor of dozens of people and which regulators cap for exactly that reason.

Can I auto dial an Excel list?

Yes, and nothing has to be reformatted first. Bring the file in, then treat the result like any other collection in the app: it can be dialled straight through, split across the team, or narrowed to a stage before you begin.

Does auto dialing cost extra in SIM balance?

No more than dialing by hand. They are the same mobile calls on the same plan you already pay for, so changing how a number gets dialed does not change what the call costs.

Why the gap between calls is the number worth measuring

Updated 8 September 2026

Call volume is the metric every telecalling floor watches, and it is the wrong one to manage directly. Telling a caller to make more calls produces shorter conversations, not better days. The number that can actually be improved without cost is the time between calls: the seconds spent finding the next row, reading a number, typing it, and deciding to press dial. Timed honestly, on a normal team, it runs to twenty seconds or more, which over a hundred calls is close to an hour of paid time producing nothing.

An auto dialer removes that interval, and the arithmetic is immediate. The same caller, the same list, the same hours produce half as many calls again. What matters more is that the recovered time is spent on conversations rather than on data entry, because the outcome sheet arrives in the same flow: two taps, and the next number is ringing. The habit forms in a day precisely because it does not compete with anything.

The pace is deliberately one call per caller. Parallel and predictive dialing squeeze more conversations out of an hour by opening several lines per agent, and pay for it with silent calls at the customer end, which regulators restrict and caller-ID apps punish. Telodial dials one number at a time from the SIM in the phone, which is both the honest pace for a small team and the one that keeps your number answerable.
