Best auto dialer apps in India?

For most Indian teams the best auto dialer app is one that calls out on the SIM the caller already carries, because a normal mobile number still gets picked up and a rented one increasingly does not. Beyond that, the choice comes down to what happens between calls. A dialer that only places calls saves the twenty seconds of typing; a dialer inside a CRM also captures the outcome, sets the follow-up and sends the message, which is where the day is really lost. Telodial takes the second approach at ₹159 per user per month with the CRM included. GoDial and Calley offer free tiers that suit a single caller. Cloud platforms with predictive dialing beat all of them above roughly fifty seats on cold lists, and lose below it. Prices are vendor published figures, checked in September 2026.

  • SIM or VoIP: which number does the customer actually see when the phone rings
  • Can you set the gap between calls, so the caller has time to write the note before the next one starts
  • Does the session stop on a run of unreachable numbers, or quietly burn the morning
  • What happens between calls: is the outcome captured, or is dialing all it does
Who put this together: we do, and Telodial is one of the entries. Every other price here is the figure published on that vendor own site, with the date we checked it, and every entry names something that tool does better than ours. Prices move: confirm before you pay. Prices checked 4 September 2026.
How we judged it

What actually decides this choice

  • SIM or VoIP: which number does the customer actually see when the phone rings?
  • Can you set the gap between calls, so the caller has time to write the note before the next one starts?
  • Does the session stop on a run of unreachable numbers, or quietly burn the morning?
  • What happens between calls: is the outcome captured, or is dialing all it does?
  • Does the queue survive a pause, an incoming call and a phone restart?

    Telodial

    that is us

Best for: Teams who want the outcome captured as well as the call placed

Sessions run from any list, dial through the caller own SIM with a gap you set, stop on a run of unreachable numbers, and take status, remark and follow-up in a two-tap sheet between calls. ₹159 per user per month with the CRM, reminders and WhatsApp in the same plan.

₹159 per user per month on the yearly plan, every feature included

    RMDialer

Best for: Callers who want progressive dialing from a long-established app

Dials one number at a time through the handset SIM, with the lead record and the after-call step in the same app, and has been on Google Play doing it since 2020. No predictive dialing here either, which is the right trade below about fifty seats.

Auto, power, predictive: which pace you actually want

An auto dialer waits until the caller says they are ready, then places the next one. Power dialing, also sold as progressive, does it by itself the moment the last call drops, keeping one live line per person. Predictive dialing runs ahead of its agents: it opens more lines than there are people and hands over whoever picks up, which means a share of those people hear nothing at all. Dial through one SIM and you are power dialing whether the box says so or not, because a SIM holds one conversation.

The trade is volume against how your number gets treated. On a big floor predictive dialing genuinely returns more conversations per agent hour, and it also leaves people listening to silence, which regulators restrict and which teaches caller-ID apps to mark you. Below roughly fifty callers, working enquiries you generated yourself, those extra conversations are not worth having a number that stops being answered.

Being straight

When Telodial is the wrong choice

Three situations where something on this list, or something not on it, will serve you better.

  • A contact centre running fifty or more seats on cold outbound lists, where predictive dialing over virtual numbers genuinely produces more conversations per hour than one SIM can.
  • A business that needs call recording, which Android restricts for third-party apps and which Telodial therefore does not offer.
  • A team whose selling happens mostly by email or in a field CRM rather than on the phone, where a general-purpose CRM will fit better.

Questions

What people ask before choosing

Which auto dialer app is best for Android in India?

For a team, take one with the CRM attached so the outcome lands between calls: Telodial does exactly that from your own SIM at ₹159 per user per month. For one person, the free tiers at Calley or GoDial settle the question without spending anything.

Is auto dialing legal in India?

Ringing somebody back about an enquiry they submitted themselves, on the number your business trades under, is simply doing business. What the regulator restricts is unrequested promotion, most tightly towards subscribers who registered to be left alone. Work lists you generated, keep the record of every call, and mark anybody who asks not to be rung again.

How many calls can an auto dialer make in a day?

On a SIM-based dialer, typically 150 to 250 per caller against 60 to 100 by hand. The ceiling is talk time rather than dialing time, so the figure depends on how long your conversations run.

Do you need internet for auto dialing?

Not for the calls themselves on a SIM-based dialer, because those travel over the mobile network like every other call; data matters only for syncing afterwards. A cloud dialer carries the audio on the connection, so it wants a steady one from start to finish.

Is an auto dialer a robocaller?

No. An auto dialer hands a live call to a person and steps back out of the way. A robocaller plays a recording at whoever picks up, and India regulates that separately.

Who wrote this list?

We did, and Telodial is on it. Two of the entries are free tools we suggest trying first, and the section above explains where a predictive cloud platform beats every app here.

What separates one auto dialer from another once you are using it

Updated 8 July 2026

The three dialing paces, and who each suits

Most confusion about auto dialers is really confusion between these three. The pace decides the tool far more than the brand does.

The three dialing paces, and who each suits
Pace How it behaves Who it suits
Auto or preview Places the next call when the caller says they are ready Careful calling where the caller reads the record first
Power or progressive Places the next call the moment the last one ends, one line each Almost every team under fifty seats, including SIM-based apps
Predictive Opens more lines than there are agents and connects whoever answers Floors above fifty agents on cold purchased lists

Anything dialing through a single SIM is power dialing by construction, whatever the marketing calls it, because one SIM carries one conversation.

Choosing between the apps on the list

You want to find out whether auto dialing helps at all.

Start on a free tier. Two entries on the list above cost nothing for one caller with a short list. Paying a subscription to answer a question a free tier answers is money spent on nothing.

The dialing is fine but the notes never get written.

A dialer with the record attached. Dialing faster into a system that captures nothing simply produces more calls nobody can account for. The gap between calls is where the value is.

You are running fifty or more agents on bought lists.

A cloud predictive platform, not an app. At that size the extra conversations predictive dialing produces genuinely outweigh its costs, and no SIM-based app on this list can offer it, ours included.

The questions people type about auto dialers

How many calls a day can an auto dialer make?

On a SIM-based dialer, typically 150 to 250 per caller against 60 to 100 dialed by hand. The ceiling is talk time rather than dialing time, so the figure depends on how long your conversations run. A team whose calls average four minutes will never reach the number quoted by a team whose calls average forty seconds.

Is auto dialing legal in India?

Ringing somebody about an enquiry they submitted, on the number your business trades under, is ordinary business calling. What the regulator restricts is unrequested promotion, most tightly towards subscribers registered on the preference list. Work lists you generated, keep the record of every call, and mark anybody who asks not to be rung again.

Does an auto dialer need a good internet connection?

A SIM-based one does not for the calling, because those are ordinary mobile calls that travel on the network like any other; data matters only for syncing. A cloud dialer carries the audio over the connection, so a weak signal becomes a bad call rather than a slow sync.

What gap should I set between calls?

Long enough to file the outcome and no longer, which for most teams lands between thirty and forty seconds. Set it shorter and the notes stop being written, which removes the reason for having the software. Set it much longer and the day quietly loses an hour.

Can an auto dialer leave voicemails automatically?

Some cloud platforms do. A SIM-based app generally does not, and in India dropping recorded messages at scale is regulated as bulk promotion rather than treated as ordinary calling. If automated voicemail is central to your plan, look at cloud platforms and read the rules first.

Worth quoting

  • A SIM-based auto dialer typically moves a caller from 60 to 100 manual dials a day to between 150 and 250.
  • Any app dialing through a single SIM is power dialing, because one SIM carries one conversation at a time.
  • Predictive dialing only pays above roughly fifty agents, and it produces abandoned calls that regulators restrict.
  • The usual gap between calls is thirty to forty seconds, which is about how long filing an honest outcome takes.
  • Calling somebody about an enquiry they submitted is ordinary business calling; unrequested promotion is what Indian rules restrict.

How this list was assembled

  • Every price above was read from the vendor own published pages, with the date printed alongside the list.
  • Two of the entries are free tools we suggest trying before paying anybody, including us.
  • The dialing-pace descriptions are the standard definitions used across the category, not one vendor terminology.

What this page does not claim

  • We make Telodial, which appears on this list. The section above explains where a cloud predictive platform beats every app here, ours included.
  • The calls-per-day figures are typical ranges from teams of this size, not a benchmark run under controlled conditions.
  • Nothing here is legal advice. The regulator own pages are the authority on what you may dial and when.
