Free telecalling CRM options, honestly compared?
There is no genuinely free telecalling CRM for a team, but there are good free dialers for one person. The free tiers from GoDial and Calley let a single caller work a limited list with a capped number of calls a day, which is enough to find out whether auto dialing changes your afternoon. What free tiers almost never include is the part a team needs: lead assignment so two callers do not ring the same person, permissions so the list cannot be exported by anyone, and owner reporting that does not depend on people writing it. Those appear on paid plans, which in India start around ₹150 per user per month. Telodial costs ₹159 per user per month with all of them included and a three-day free trial with no card. Prices checked September 2026.
- What exactly does the free tier cap: contacts, calls per day, or both
- Does the free tier include more than one user, and if so, does it include assignment between them
- Can the owner see anything, or is reporting a paid feature
- What happens to your data if you stop using it: can you export

Telodial
that is usBest for: The moment a second and third caller join
Not free, but ₹159 per user per month with a three-day trial that needs no card, and it includes the three things free tiers do not: assignment so nobody double-calls, permissions on export and delete, and owner reporting that writes itself.
₹159 per user per month on the yearly plan, every feature included

RMDialer
Best for: Trying a paid dialer properly before committing to a year
Also not free, and also runs a short trial before you pay. Worth putting on the same shortlist because a free tier and a trial answer different questions: one shows you whether dialing helps at all, the other shows you whether a full CRM survives contact with your actual list.

GoDial
Best for: One caller, a small list, no budget at all
A free tier with limits on contacts and daily calls, and per-member paid plans afterwards. The most straightforward free starting point in this category.
A limited free tier, with enterprise plans published from about ₹280 per member per month

Calley
Best for: A solo agent who wants a free dialer and nothing else
A usable free tier focused on the dialing itself, which is the right shape when there is no team to coordinate.
A free tier plus paid plans; the published Indian pricing has shifted between tiers, so confirm the current figure on their site

Callyzer
Best for: A cheap paid step up from free, if you only want tracking
Priced per phone number rather than per user, so a small team can get visibility over its calling for very little, without a full CRM.
From about ₹161 per month per phone number on the entry plan

What a free tier costs you instead of money
The honest way to compare a free tool against a paid one is to price the work it leaves in place. A free dialer with no assignment means somebody splits the list by hand each morning and settles the arguments when two callers reach the same customer. A free tool with no owner reporting means somebody compiles a report each evening, and that report is written by the people it measures.
On a three-person team, those two habits typically cost an hour a day between them, which at any realistic wage is more than the software would have cost for the whole team for a month. That is the point at which paying is cheaper than not paying, and it usually arrives with the second or third caller rather than the tenth.
None of which means free is wrong. For one person with a short list, a free dialer removes the only real friction there is, and there is no team to coordinate. Start there, and move when the coordination work appears rather than before.
When Telodial is the wrong choice
Three situations where something on this list, or something not on it, will serve you better.
- A contact centre running fifty or more seats on cold outbound lists, where predictive dialing over virtual numbers genuinely produces more conversations per hour than one SIM can.
- A business that needs call recording, which Android restricts for third-party apps and which Telodial therefore does not offer.
- A team whose selling happens mostly by email or in a field CRM rather than on the phone, where a general-purpose CRM will fit better.
From teams that made this choice
I was quoted five times this per user elsewhere, for less. I kept looking for the catch and the catch was that there is no add-on tier.
I run this alongside a full-time job, so the evening admin was the part that nearly made me quit. That hour has simply gone.
We ran the team on a shared Excel sheet for four years. The sheet was never wrong at 10 am and never right by 6 pm. Now the status changes when the call ends, so what I open at night is what actually happened.
Quotes come from customers who agreed to be named this way, shared on WhatsApp or on calls, and trimmed only for length. We publish no star rating or review count, because we will not show a number we cannot show you the source of. Last checked September 2026.
What people ask before choosing
Is there a completely free telecalling CRM?
For one caller, effectively yes: free tiers from GoDial and Calley cover dialing a small list with daily caps. For a team, no. Assignment, permissions and owner reporting are paid features everywhere, because they are what a team is paying to fix.
What do free telecalling apps limit?
Usually the number of contacts, the number of calls a day, or both, and almost always team features. Check the specific caps against your actual list size before planning around them.
When should I stop using a free tool?
When a second and third caller join and somebody starts splitting lists by hand and compiling an evening report. That coordination work usually costs more per week than a paid plan does per month.
Can I try a paid telecalling CRM without paying?
Yes. Telodial runs a three-day trial with every feature unlocked and no card, which is long enough to put a real morning of calls through it. If it does not help, there is nothing to cancel.
Will I lose my data if I move from a free tool?
Check the export option before you commit to any tool, free or paid. Most allow a CSV export, and Telodial imports Excel and CSV with column mapping, merging repeated numbers into one record.
Who wrote this list?
We did, and we sell a paid product. The first two entries here are free tools we recommend starting with if you are one person, which is the honest answer even though it is not the profitable one.
What a free tier costs you in something other than money
Updated 5 July 2026
What free tiers include, and where they stop
Free tiers in this category are consistent about what they leave out, and what they leave out is always the same thing: coordination between people.
| Capability | Typical free tier | Why it sits behind the paywall |
|---|---|---|
| Dialing a list | Yes, with a daily cap | It is the hook, and it works for one person |
| A lead record with your stages | Sometimes, usually limited | Cheap to offer, and it keeps you in the tool |
| Assignment between callers | Rarely | It only matters once there is a team, which is when you pay |
| Owner reporting | Rarely | Same reason: one caller does not need a report about themselves |
| Export of your own data | Check carefully | The one to verify before you build a habit on it |
Free tier caps change more often than paid prices. The figures on the list above were read on the date shown with it.
When free is right, and when it stops being
One caller, a short list, no budget.
Free, without hesitation. There is no team to coordinate, so nothing the paid tiers add applies to you yet. A free dialer removes the only real friction at that size.
Two or three callers sharing one list.
The free tier is now costing you money. Somebody splits the list each morning by hand and settles it when two callers reach the same customer. On a three-person team that habit runs to about an hour a day, which is more than the software would cost for everybody for a month.
You need the owner to see the day without asking.
Pay, at almost any vendor. Reporting is the capability free tiers withhold most consistently, and a report compiled each evening by the people it measures is not a report.
What people ask about free options
Is there a genuinely free telecalling CRM for a team?
Not really. There are good free dialers for one person, and there are free tiers of team products with the team parts removed. The moment two people share a list you need assignment, permissions and a view for whoever is responsible, and those are consistently the paid features across every vendor in this category.
What is the catch with a free auto dialer?
Usually a cap on contacts, a cap on calls per day, or both, and no coordination between users. Those are honest limits rather than tricks. The catch worth checking is the one nobody advertises: whether you can export your own leads if you decide to leave.
When does paying become cheaper than staying free?
When the coordination work appears, which is usually at the second or third caller rather than the tenth. Price the hour a day somebody spends splitting lists and compiling an evening report at any realistic wage and compare it with a month of seats. The arithmetic is rarely close.
Can I start free and move later?
Yes, and it is a sensible order. Export to Excel or CSV, import into whatever you move to, and map your columns once. Do the export before you stop paying or stop qualifying for the tier, and check the export exists before you rely on being able to make one.
Does Telodial have a free plan?
No. Three days free with every feature open and no card, then 159 rupees per user per month on the yearly plan. If a permanently free tool is the requirement, two entries on the list above serve that better than we do and we would rather point at them than pretend otherwise.
Worth quoting
- There is no genuinely free telecalling CRM for a team; free tiers consistently withhold assignment, permissions and owner reporting.
- Free tiers are good for one caller with a short list, which is exactly the situation with no coordination cost.
- The point at which paying becomes cheaper than staying free usually arrives with the second or third caller.
- On a three-person team, splitting lists and compiling reports by hand typically costs about an hour a day.
- Before relying on a free tier, confirm you can export your own leads out of it.
How this comparison was made
- Free tier limits and paid entry prices were read from each vendor own published pages on the date printed with the list above.
- The list deliberately includes tools that cost nothing and are better than ours for a single caller.
- The hour-a-day figure is a rule of thumb from teams of this size, offered as a way to do your own arithmetic rather than as a measured statistic.
What this page does not claim
- We make Telodial and we do not offer a free tier. Read a page about the limits of free tiers with that in mind.
- Free tier caps are the fastest-moving numbers in this category. Confirm the current ones on the vendor own site.
- We have not tested every free tier here to its limits on a live list.
