Paying more per caller than the calling itself costs?
A RMDialer alternative for teams that sell on their own SIM. Telodial, the telecalling CRM, is ₹159 per user with everything in one plan.
An Android business dialer with a telecalling CRM behind it, on sale to Indian teams since 2020 and also through a network of partners who resell it under their own brand. Here is how the two compare on the things that decide it, including where RMDialer is the better buy.

Which RMDialer alternative works best in India?
Telodial is a RMDialer alternative built for Indian teams of roughly two to fifty callers. Calls go out through the SIM already in the caller phone rather than over VoIP, so the customer sees an ordinary mobile number and answers it, and a customer who calls back later reaches the same person. The lead record lives in the same app: the after-call sheet opens the moment a call ends and takes the status, a remark and the next follow-up in two taps, so nothing is written up afterwards from memory. WhatsApp is part of the product rather than a separate line on the invoice, covering automatic messages after calls, bulk campaigns and a shared reply inbox. The app itself runs in 40 languages, chosen per caller. Telodial costs ₹159 per user per month on the yearly plan with every feature included. RMDialer publishes its own rates on its own site, and the comparison below is drawn on everything except price.
- Your own SIM and number, so calls get answered
- Two-tap after-call sheet, on the handset
- WhatsApp automation and campaigns in the base price
- ₹159 per user per month on the yearly plan

Where RMDialer wins
- A Play Store listing that has been live and maintained since 2020, with published counts of the businesses using it and the countries they call from. That is more public track record than a newer brand can point at, and it counts for something if you would rather buy from a name that has been around.
- They publish a plan billed in US dollars for buyers outside India. Telodial quotes rupees and nothing else, so a team calling from abroad has a figure to work with there and a conversation to have here.
- A reseller programme with several hundred partners behind it. If the plan is to put your own brand on a dialer and sell it onward, that is a product in its own right, and it is not one we sell.

Where Telodial wins
- One price, everything in it. ₹159 per user per month on the yearly plan, with the auto dialer, lead CRM, reminders, WhatsApp and team reporting all included rather than split across tiers.
- Your own SIM and number. Calls go out through the phone own SIM, so customers see a normal mobile number and can call it back later and reach the same person.
- Built for the two seconds after a call. The after-call sheet opens by itself and takes status, remark and follow-up in two taps, which is the only moment a busy caller will reliably give you.
- The app in 40 languages. Chosen per caller rather than per company, in day-to-day words, so a new joiner reads their own screen from the first hour.
Listed price: ₹159 per user per month on the yearly plan
Worth asking before you commit
- Ask which billing period any figure you are quoted belongs to. As with most tools here, committing for a year and committing for a quarter are priced differently, and the headline is usually the yearly one.
- Neither product records calls, because Android keeps recording away from apps of this kind. If the audio is the reason you are shopping, the honest answer is that neither of us is it.
- Check who picks up when you ring support on a Friday evening, in which language, and from which city. The two companies sit in different states, and that difference shows up in support rather than anywhere on a feature list.
These two agree about most of the feature list, so the decision rarely turns on what is inside the app. It turns on whether you need billing outside India, whether you intend to resell the software rather than only use it, and whose support desk you would rather be calling on a Monday morning when something has broken.
When RMDialer or something else is the better choice
- A contact centre running fifty or more seats on cold outbound lists, where predictive dialing over virtual numbers genuinely produces more conversations per hour than one SIM can.
- A business that needs call recording, which Android restricts for third-party apps and which Telodial therefore does not offer.
- A team whose selling happens mostly by email or in a field CRM rather than on the phone, where a general-purpose CRM will fit better.
From teams who moved
Customers call the same number back later and it rings on the caller who spoke to them. With a rented number that never worked properly.
One renewal we would otherwise have missed covered the whole year for the whole team. That is the honest arithmetic of it.
We ran the team on a shared Excel sheet for four years. The sheet was never wrong at 10 am and never right by 6 pm. Now the status changes when the call ends, so what I open at night is what actually happened.
Quotes come from customers who agreed to be named this way, shared on WhatsApp or on calls, and trimmed only for length. We publish no star rating or review count, because we will not show a number we cannot show you the source of. Last checked September 2026.
RMDialer alternative: common questions
How do Telodial and RMDialer compare on cost?
Both sell per user, so the only sound way to compare them is to price your own headcount on each vendor own page on the same afternoon, at the same commitment length, and to read the renewal figure rather than the joining one. Telodial is ₹159 per user per month on the yearly plan with every feature in it. We deliberately do not print their number here: rates change, and a rival price quoted second-hand is out of date the day it moves. Theirs is on rmdialer.com. Checked 9 September 2026.
Can I move my data from RMDialer?
Yes. Export your leads to Excel or CSV, import them into Telodial and map your own columns once. Numbers that already exist are matched and merged rather than added twice, so a customer with history does not become two records.
Does Telodial use my own SIM or VoIP?
Your own SIM. The call goes out from the phone in the caller hand and shows your own number, which is why answer rates in India stay higher than on rented VoIP numbers. There is no per-minute telephony bill, because the calls run on the mobile plan you already pay for.
What does RMDialer do better?
A Play Store listing that has been live and maintained since 2020, with published counts of the businesses using it and the countries they call from. That is more public track record than a newer brand can point at, and it counts for something if you would rather buy from a name that has been around. If that is the deciding factor for your team, they are a reasonable choice, and we would rather say so here than have you find out after paying.
Who should not switch to Telodial?
A contact centre running fifty or more seats on cold outbound lists, where predictive dialing over virtual numbers genuinely produces more conversations per hour than one SIM can. Also any team that needs call recording, which Android restricts for third-party apps and which we therefore do not offer.
Choosing between two dialers that agree about most things
Updated 11 July 2026
What people ask when they are comparing these two
Which is better, Telodial or RMDialer?
Neither, in the abstract, and any page that answers otherwise is selling you something. Both dial through the SIM in an Android handset, both put the lead record in the same app as the call, and both run in forty languages. The question only becomes answerable once you say where your callers sit, whether you are ever going to bill in a currency other than rupees, and whether you want to resell the software as well as use it. Those three answers separate them; the feature grid does not.
Can I use RMDialer and Telodial together?
You can, but there is little reason to. They occupy the same slot on the same phone: one app that replaces the dialer and holds the lead record. Running both means two places where a call outcome might have been written, which is the exact problem either one is bought to solve. Pick one per team, and if different offices genuinely need different tools, keep the split at the office boundary rather than inside a team.
Is it hard to move from RMDialer to Telodial?
It is an evening, not a project. Export your leads to Excel or CSV, import them here, and map your columns once. A number that already exists is matched and merged instead of being added a second time, so somebody with six months of history does not arrive as two half-records. What does not transfer automatically is call history held inside the other app, so export anything you need to keep before you stop paying.
Does either one work on iPhone?
No. Both are Android, and that is a consequence of how they work rather than a gap somebody forgot to fill. Replacing the dialer, reading the call state and opening a record the moment a call ends are things iOS does not allow an app to do. If your callers are on iPhones, neither of these is your answer and a cloud dialer with a softphone is the category to look at.
Which one is better for a team of five?
At five seats on Indian numbers, close enough that the answer is a trial rather than a table. Put a real morning of your own leads through each, on the phones your callers actually use, and watch one thing: how long it takes a caller to file the outcome after hanging up. That number decides whether the notes get written at all once the novelty wears off, and it is the only difference you will still feel in month three.
The rows that actually decide it
Everything both products agree on is left out, because a row where two tools match has never helped anybody choose.
| Telodial | RMDialer | |
|---|---|---|
| Where the call goes out from | The SIM in the caller handset | The SIM in the caller handset |
| Billing outside India | Not published | Publishes an international plan in US dollars |
| On Google Play since | 2026 | 2020 |
| Published customer numbers | None claimed | Counts of businesses and countries, on their site |
| Reseller programme | Not sold | Yes, several hundred partners |
| Support desk | Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune | A different state, so ask them directly |
Read from each vendor own public pages on 9 September 2026. Where something is not clearly published, this table says so rather than guessing.
Four situations, and where each one points
Two to fifty callers, Indian numbers, Indian SIMs.
Trial both and let the after-call moment decide. On this shape of team the two products agree about almost everything that appears on a specification sheet. What you will actually feel every day is how much attention it costs a caller to record what just happened, while they are already thinking about the next number.
Your callers or your customers are outside India.
RMDialer, or a cloud platform. They publish a plan billed in US dollars and Telodial publishes nothing for that case. An unpublished price is not a cheaper price, it is a conversation you have not had yet, and you should not have to start a sales conversation to find out whether a product is even sold to you.
You want to sell a dialer under your own brand.
RMDialer. A partner programme with several hundred resellers behind it is a different product from a per-seat subscription, and it is not one we sell. This is not a close call and there is no point pretending it is.
Fifty or more agents working cold purchased lists.
Neither of us. Both dial one number at a time, because one SIM carries one conversation. At that headcount a predictive platform on rented numbers produces measurably more conversations per hour, and paying for a SIM dialer there means paying for the wrong shape of tool.
How this page was put together
- Every RMDialer statement here was read from rmdialer.com on 9 September 2026 and from nowhere else. Nothing was taken from a directory listing, an app store description or another comparison page.
- Every Telodial figure is the one published on this site, and it is the same number our pricing page and our structured data carry. If you find those disagreeing, the pricing page is right and this is a bug.
- Prices are deliberately absent from the comparison. Both companies publish their own rates and change them when they choose; a rival price copied onto a third-party page is out of date the day it moves, and this one would be no exception.
What this page does not claim
- We make Telodial. Read every row above knowing that, and check the ones that matter to you.
- We have not run RMDialer on a live floor for a season. Nothing here is a judgement about how it holds up under load; it is a careful reading of what they publish.
- Facts in this category age. If the date above is more than a quarter old, confirm on the vendor own site before you pay anybody, including us.
The short version
- Telodial and RMDialer are both Android apps that place calls through the SIM already in the caller handset, rather than over VoIP.
- RMDialer publishes a plan billed in US dollars for buyers outside India. Telodial publishes rupee pricing only.
- RMDialer has been listed on Google Play since 2020 and publishes counts of the businesses and countries using it. Telodial went live on Google Play in 2026.
- RMDialer runs a reseller programme with several hundred partners. Telodial sells seats directly and does not offer one.
- Neither product records calls, because Android does not allow apps of this kind to capture call audio.
- Neither product does predictive dialing, so neither suits an outbound floor of fifty or more agents working cold lists.
